Payment methods, ranked by measured speed
Deposits are near-instant almost everywhere; the real differences appear at withdrawal. Below, what we measured across 142 control withdrawals in 2026, by method.
The speed ranking from our tests
| Method | Fastest measured | Typical range |
|---|---|---|
| Revolut / digital bank | 28 min (Betano) | 0.5–4 h |
| Bank card | 41 min (Superbet) | 1–14 h |
| Retail shops (cash) | same day | below per-shop caps |
| E-wallets | ~1 h | 1–6 h where available |
| Bank transfer | — | 1–3 working days |
Each method's pitfalls
Card: withdrawals usually return only to the depositing card (an AML rule). Cash: per-transaction caps. Transfer: slowest, but sometimes the only route for large sums. General rule: deposit with the method you plan to withdraw to — mixing methods is the main cause of extra KYC delays.
